Automated Welding

Some of the technology being used in Hoover's manufacturing facility is robotic welding. The welding machine tracks the weld seam of the container, is accurate to .004 of an inch, and provides 100% penetration on a single pass. It also welds around the corners of our containers so that there is one start-stop on each seam – improving the quality of the tanks and eliminating the possibility of leaks
