Liquistands®

Hoover manufactures and distributes a wide variety support stands for IBCs. The Liquistand® allows easy access for valve connections and provides an effective barrier between the IBC and base floor. Liquistands are 10 tubular carbon steel constructed with 7 gauge top platform. These stands are available in a variety of sizes and configurations.

Liquibasins®

Hoover secondary containment basins are one piece, 10 gauge (.135”/3.4 mm), carbon steel construction with channel legs for extra support which provides an effective barrier between the IBC and the outside environment.

Capture leaks, drips and spills can easily be contained for recovery. These rugged large capacity systems provide excellent chemical resistance and are available in a variety of sizes and configurations.

Inline Pad Eye Lifting Lug

Hoover's patent-pending Inline Pad Eye Lifting Lug helps meet stringent new offshore lifting requirements for existing containers. Once installed, the Inline Pad Eye Lifting Lug allows a significant increase in maximum lifting load capacity when using a 30° 4-legged sling. Although not a DNV 2.7-1 certified container, the Inline Pad Eye Lifting Lug was designed to meet as many DNV 2.7-1 requirements as possible. The Inline Pad Eye Lifting Lug may be ordered as kit, or containers may be shipped to Hoover retrofit. After installation, containers must be submitted for UIN retest requirements.

At-A-Glance Gauge

 The oil industry’s most widely accepted liquid level indicator. Simply designed for long life and “At-A-Glance” readability. The “At-A-Glance” gauge utilizes direct mechanical action to accurately measure liquid levels. No complicated gears, cams, magnets or tapes to break down or wear out.

The patented calibration assembly features double, heavy plastic domes. The bold-printed calibration is inserted between the domes, and they are seated on a duro nitrile gasket held in place by a plastic nut. Double plastic dome insures against breakage. Easy to install, “At-A-Glance” gauges are precisely adjusted at the factory to fit any tank with depths up to twelve feet.

Wire Rope 4-legged Bridle Slings

Each sling is tagged with the capacities and instructions. It is manufactured with stainless steel wire, offering excellent corrosion resistance, strength, appearance and versatility. It is the ideal choice for durability in any application.

Site Glass Level Gauge

The Site Glass Level Gauge provides a visual means for checking the content of an IBC and a means for checking the injection rate when pumping directly from the IBC. The injection rate is checked by closing a valve between the gauge and tank and observing the level change in the gauge tube for one minute. If higher pump rate is required, the test period can be shortened. The gauge tube should be shrouded by a zinc plated carbon steel frame or 304 stainless steel frame. The site tube is 780 Borosilicate glass and a wide option of elastomers are available.

The gauge is fitted with 1/2” MNPT x 3/8” MNPT top and bottom connections. Hoover offers three different lengths for this gauge; however, special lengths are available in either carbon steel or 304 stainless steel. Standard delivery for special length gauges is 10 days after receipt of order.

IBC Insulated Jacket with Heating Element

Product Description:

• Made of dark blue 10 oz. weight vinyl laminated polyester - vinyl is UV/mildew resistant and fire retardant treated
• Astrofoil insulated
• Vinyl coated polyester mesh pockets inside the cover to hold heating elements (heating elements can be sold separately)
• Two - piece construction - body piece that wraps the tank and fastens to itself with velcro and a separate removable top that fastens to the cover body with velcro
• Cutouts in the top so that the tanks are stackable with the covers on
• Heating system operates on standard 110 V grounded outlet, heat system components are UL approved
• System maintains the tank and contents 50 degrees higher than ambient temperature when properly installed
