New Chairman

Houston TX (Monday, December 01, 2008) – Hoover Materials Handling Group Inc. of Houston is delighted to announce the appointment of Donald W. Young as the company’s new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Previously, Mr. Young was a member of the Board of Directors of Hoover and a Vice President at Citicorp Venture Capital, a division of Citigroup. Mr. Young brings more than twelve years of operating and investment experience and has served on the board or worked closely with more than 40 companies in his professional career. Mr. Young graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Government. He is a native Texan, born and raised in Corpus Christi TX.

Mr. Young noted that, “Hoover is poised for continued growth. Its strong brand name, extensive customer base, especially in the Gulf Coast, and its efficient and high quality manufacturing advantages are all factors that attracted me to this organization. The liquid packaging industry is growing and dynamic. I believe my experience and track record fit well with these demands and I look forward to contributing to Hoover’s continued success.”
