Hoover Materials Handling Group Opens New IBC Manufacturing Facility

Hoover Materials Handling Group announces the opening of its new Houston, Texas, location. Located on Houston’s west side at 2135 South Highway 6, the new building is approximately 220,000 sq. ft. and functions as Hoover’s newest, state-of-the-art, ISO 9001 manufacturing facility.

In the new facility, Hoover, a leader in the IBC industry for 60 years, incorporates new robotic technology, therefore, making it the most automated Hoover facility. Onsite testing is utilized for new and current products.

Hoover has completely remodeled the interior of the facility which functions not only as a manufacturing plant but as an office for some of Hoover’s corporate employees. This new location supports all of Hoover’s functions, streamlining communication internally and with customers.

Hoover plans to consolidate the East Houston, Wallisville Road facility with the Hwy 6 location in order to continue offering high quality service to their customers.
